BECOME A FORECLOSURE BUSTER OR A MEMBER OF OUR ANNUAL GALA AND/OR COMMUNITY EXPO PLANNING COMMITTEES

FORECLOSURE BUSTERS

Join the Foreclosure Busters, door-to-door and community liaison task force. The Foreclosure Busters will work with UMDC to do a campaign to help save homeowners who are at risk of or currently in a foreclosure situation. Foreclosure Busters will be trained to learn the available programs and services available to residents in the neighborhood and work to help bring these services to the residents. If you are interested in helping to Save Our Homes and Save Our Streets, and would like to be a part of the Foreclosure Busters, please fill out the volunteer form and contact UMDC at 216-341-0757.

COMMUNITY EXPO COMMITTEE

For the past three years Union Miles Development Corporation has hosted the Union Miles Community Day festival. It is always an exciting event for the community. Each year the Expo consists of a variety of entertainment, food, activities, vendors and a parade. We are looking to grow this event each year and get better input from the community and the stake holders. How can you help? The Union Miles Community Expo Steering Committee. If you would like to be a part of the planning and implementation we ask that you commit to one meeting each month, and help facilitate such aspects of the expo as entertainment, activities, vendors and parade participants. Please fill out the UMDC volunteer application if you are interested, and call 216-341-0757.

ANNUAL GALA COMMITTEE

UMDC hosts an Annual Fundraising Gala. Proceeds from this event will support the continuous efforts toward our mission to improve the quality of life in Union Miles through community organizing, housing and economic development. This black tie event, is an evening of celebration, fine dining and dancing. If you are interested in being a part of the planning, marketing, and solicitation for this event, please contact the UMDC offices at 216-341-0757.
